Went in yesterday and bought a ton of books for my students. Still a lot of music left! Everything now 40% off (rumored store is closing next week, so discount may go higher).

Gloucester Music, an icon of Gloucester, and the only music store of its kind still left on the North Shore (Ted Cole’s of Salem was the other main shop; they closed many years ago) shuts its doors this month. Susan Emerson, the owner, has a lot of inventory to sell if she can—help her out and go buy some sheet music (even if you don’t play, give it to a friend!) or a CD or two.

Also a home needs to be found for the infamous orange cat (which many of you may know well)—anyone able to adopt him? (Might be a her.)
